Week 5 On My Treadmill Desk

I was sick this week so I didn’t get as much time on the treadmill desk as I would have liked so my weight stayed the same.  This week I walked for 4.45 hours, took 32,280 steps, burned 872 calories and walked 11.43 miles.  It was a bit of a disappointing week.

Where I did have success was with the MyStride Activity Monitor.  Tracking my total steps for the day, I was getting in about 20,000 steps and on some days I even tracked over 40,000 steps.  Not too shabby.  Using the integrated USB, I was able to upload my results to my LifeSpan Fitness Club account.  It made me feel a little better since I wasn’t getting in the time on the treadmill desk.

My effort to eat more healthful choices has been proving successful.  I have been eating lots more vegetables and fruit and have shied away from processed foods and preservative.  Although it didn’t show in my weight this week, I am feeling better overall and I’ve stopped having cravings for junk food.
