Love. I love this desk.

I love this treadmill desk. It is the best money I've ever spent.

I work from home and was sitting 10 hours a day and would have back issues and severe headaches. After four months of use, I feel like a new person.

It takes a while to get used to standing and using the keyboard while walking, but it's a quick learning curve. I'm 5'8" and the length of the track is plenty for me.

Spend the money. Totally worth it.

Satisfied!

I am very satisfied with the the treadmill desk. Definitely worth investing into. Now instead of spending endless hours while sitting, I am constantly on the move. It does take a bit of adjustment at the beginning to get used to working while walking.

The item arrived promptly and it was not too difficult to set it up.

I'll never go back to sitting at my desk.

I've had this treadmill desk in daily operation for eight months now and it's been everything I'd hoped it would be.
Solid, well made, stable, quiet, attractive. It's worth the price and should last me a long time.

You will want to pair it with a good reticulated monitor arm support and then you're in business.
Very few pieces to assemble. My initial adjustment of the walking belt has not required another adjustment since day one.

I find it a tragedy that individuals and businesses don't use these because they're afraid they are too out of the ordinary, too "out there". Once I started to use it, I immediately thought, "Why haven't I always been working this way?!" So easy and comfortable to use. So-o-o much better than sitting for hours!

Healthy Work Station for WFH or telecommunters

I have increased my healthy lifestyle by not sitting for 8 plus hours a day. On an average, I walk 8 miles a day without missing a presentation, conference call or desk work.

My health numbers have improved as well and will be rechecking my numbers in May to see the difference I month can make.

The equipment was easy to set-up (two people needed for sure) and the timing to set-up the equipment was less than ( with two people), 45 minutes including mat and lube.

Thank you so much for making heart healthy employees, family member and loved ones.

Good in many ways

Sturdy, adjustable and a nice spacious surface. My only complaint is that the treadmill stops each and every time I step off of it. I am a physician and I am busy all day seeing patients so when I return to my treadmill desk to finish a patient's chart/write a prescription, etc I have to wait for the treadmill to slowly start back up to get back to my desired pace. Getting off and on repeatedly is a drawback for trying to keep an ongoing pace. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars.

better than I expected

Just set it up yesterday and already I love it. Heavy, commercial-quality construction, easy set-up. I'm sure it will take a little practice before I can do my regular desk work. Typing while walking will take some time to master. Start at a slow speed and gradually increase. In order to keep records of your exercise you must buy membership in the fitness club at $50/yr. If you do, you get a desktop app that keeps track of all your workouts. I think that's worth the money. You can set up fitness goals and track your progress with the app and the membership. You get 4 months free trial on this.
This is a new skill and will just take some time to be comfortable with it, but already I like not sitting while working.

Don't worry about the bluetooth unless you want to geek out...

The desk and treadmill are very high quality products and after putting in about 20 miles on the treadmill it seemed appropriate to try the bluetooth. Imagine my surprise when I tried to make the connection only to find that the apps can only be downloaded if one sends the vendor $70 to join the Lifespan Fitness Club. After querying the company, they pointed out that my package was supposed to include a free membership in the LFS and then forwarded a number to insert. The bluetooth application, which I've now used, needs an interface which is non-nerd-like. After getting it to work, I find it is not sufficiently useful that I'll use it to record my exercise.

I will say that the support from Lifespan was excellent and after getting about 50 miles on my treadmill, I'm happier than ever with it. For those who are wondering, I find I can answer emails even at 2.5 mph and watch TV or surf the net at even higher speeds. It is an extraordinary challenge to type carefully while walking, but great fun. For those in their 50's and higher, there is an added benefit to the treadmill desktop combo, and that is to energize the mind and keep it active. Walking and staying on the treadmill while simultaneously typing is a grand mental and physical challenge.

I hope the review is more upbeat than the last, as I am very satisfied with the product.

Love It!

I have been sitting for years and it was starting to show. I was skeptical about a treadmill desk at first, wondering if I could really type and walk with accuracy, but after just a few hours (at a really low speed) I began to get the hang of it. I had to raise the desk a little higher than I expected but once I found a good height (just above my elbows) I was fine.
My job as a medical coder allows me to work from home 2 days a week so I wasn't concerned with the size of the desk fitting in my office although I have told everyone at work about it and I've convinced one of my co-workers to order one (I hope the two of us can convince management to buy some for the office).
There is one weird side effect I found after a few weeks - it is more difficult to stay sitting for long times. When i am in the office, I get restless in meetings. At my desk I have to stand up and move around more. It's almost like my legs are telling me to "get moving". Either I have to find a way to get my treadmill desk in the office or work from home more days because I love my treadmill desk!
