  1. Good Unit (Posted on April 7, 2013) Review by Dan D.

    Value
    Quality

    It was easy to put together. It will take two people.

    Delivery was right to the door, the delivery men put inside.

    Reasonably quiet.

    I have no idea how to set height and weight. It was a frustrating so I gave up.

    I do not have a long stride but if you do consider a longer unit.

    Everything in description was accurate. No surprises. (Posted on 7/18/13)

  2. happy with treadmill (Posted on June 30, 2013) Review by Duckman

    Bought this treadmill with reservations about putting it together would be a nightmare (other reviews), but no, this was one of the easiest items I have ever assembled. The trucking company delivered to my home, took out of the box and placed it exactly where my wife wanted it.. FYI, another fear was having to lug it inside after them dropping it off at the curb.. The treadmill was started up all within a couple of hours after beginning, which took that long because of breaks to watch the baseball game. So far, I give this item, Amazon and the trucking company a 5 star. (Posted on 7/18/13)

  3. Great treadmill (Posted on March 30, 2011) Review by Frugie

    Nice treadmill. And fairly quiet, too. I just wish that the control screen had a sleep option because it's constantly lit up when not in use. I called LifeSpan about it and they told me that this model's screen does not sleep. Other than that, it's a great treadmill. (Posted on 7/16/13)

  4. Good product at GREAT price (Posted on March 10, 2013) Review by John "Dr John"

    This is a decent mid-level treadmill for home use. Sturdy build, good dimensions for running, and easy to fold up for storing in a home setting. It has limited programs built in, but this was not something my wife and I were looking for in a treadmill. To get a significantly better treadmill you really have to spend close to twice as much - we got it on sale at Amazon for a fantastic price. (Posted on 7/16/13)

  5. exactly what i was looking for, quiet and feature rich (Posted on April 12, 2013) Review by Joseph P Berglund

    My criteria for this was something quiet and programmable for incline/speed variation with enough space for my 225ish pounds.

    It satisfies on those counts. For some reason the user-programmed workouts must be divided into 20 pieces, but not a deal breaker by any means.

    I've lost about 15-20 pounds on it (now at 203lbs), put well over 200+ miles in the last few months. have not noticed any noise changes.

    the only issue i can really think of is sometimes it rattles just slightly if you don't situate the arms correctly after moving it around, but forcing it into position fixes it. keep in mind i am a little anal about small noises so its probably not a big deal. (Posted on 7/16/13)

  6. Great Product and Great customer service (Posted on July 4, 2011) Review by kree8iv "kree8iv"

    Placed an order for the LifeSpan TR 2000i Folding Treadmill in March 2011.
    Received a call from LifeSpan a few days later saying they didn't have this version
    in stock so they offered to upgrade me to the TR3000i model at no charge!
    Thanks LifeSpan!

    This machine is extremely quiet and fairly easy to use!
    Folds up really easily and is great if you don't have a lot of room.
    This machine was also relatively easy to put together.

    So far I don't really have anything negative to say about it!
    Definitely worth the money! (Posted on 7/16/13)

  7. Great treadmill (Posted on Jan. 12, 2013) Review by John Dykstra

    Prompt delivery. Easy to assemble. Exactly as advertised. One thing to warm you about. We used our old treadmill for 8 years and put about 15 miles per week on it. When I ran on the new treadmill, it was harder for me to run at speeds I was running on my old treadmill. I think the old was a little "gracious" and the new was a little stiff. I did grease the belt as recommend and time has helped. It isn't a problem, but as a runner it's something that you would like to know. Overall happy with this treadmill with heavy daily use. (Posted on 7/16/13)

  8. One Year Old and I Still Love It (Posted on Jan. 5, 2013) Review by wise1

    It's been a year since I bought this treadmill. Because of my unusual delivery situation I did not buy it on Amazon, but directly from LifeSpan with their concierge delivery and assembly. I am very handy with tools but they were in and out in 30 minutes.

    I use the treadmill every morning. According to the Lifespan Fitness Club I average 17 miles a month and walked or jogged 189 miles since I've had it. (not sure why the math does not work out) I am the only one who uses it and since I live alone I can't say if the noise would bother anyone. For anyone looking at these I strongly recommend you go to various stores and look at them in person. Feel the buttons, lean on the handles, jump up and down on it. If it feels cheap in the store then it will feel cheap in your house.

    I felt this was the sturdiest, best build quality in it's price range. For me the biggest selling points were:
    * Build quality
    * Button design and feel
    * Location of buttons
    * Included chest strap
    * Smoothness of operation
    * Display size and readibility

    I am not one to fool around with gizmos so my routine consists of pressing "start" and walking/jogging by using the speed up/down buttons on the handle. There are built-in and customizable exercise programs but I do not have the patience to use them or set them up. The main console LCD is very easy to read and the buttons on the main panel are illuminated. Response to speed or elevation changes are as fast as the best machines I have used. The one gizmo that I do use is the included usb dongle that plugs into the control panel. Every couple of days I plug it into my computer and upload the workout data to the Lifespan website. It took some trial and error to set this up, I had to upgrade some free software on my mac but since then it has worked flawlessly. If you are really into fitness LifeSpan has a way to keep track of every fitness thing you do via the included online Fitness Club membership, but I can't speak to that since I only track my miles.

    The treadmill folds up but it takes some strength to do that, so I only fold it to occasionally vacuum underneath. It does not come with a mat but one is recommended. At minimum it will keep the silicone and whatever else is on the belt from staining your carpet. I also recommend installing a TV that you can see while you are exercising. That is the single most important factor that has enabled me to keep up this regimen for an entire year. I always watch the morning news so this way I can combine to activities and save time.

    Lastly, because this is the least important, I like the way it looks. It is very low profile and the console is not some huge piece of plastic with ugly graphics. It is designed like a sophisticated piece of equipment and since it's in my bedroom I have to look at it all the time. (Posted on 7/16/13)

  9. Treadmill of my Dreams (Posted on Sept. 9, 2012) Review by Denis-Mounie

    I've run on home treadmills in other people's homes before and found them lacking compared to commercial gym models. My mother's treadmill is so loud I only used it once for three minutes. A friend's treadmill isn't powerful enough. Another one had such cheap plastic on it I was afraid of breaking it as it shook to my weight (normal BMI). But I really wanted my own treadmill after turning the back bedroom into an exercise room (it's very cheery and I'm pleased with my project).

    I found this one at $500 off in the Amazon Warehouse. The reviews looked good, the treadmill with its features looked attractive. After I hit the Proceed To Checkout and before I hit Place Your Order, I texted my husband with the deets and gave him the chance to stop me. But no, he said he'd use it too. This thrilled me and I Placed My Order.

    I was given the option of when to have it delivered by Ceva and it arrived almost on the dot. Knowing from other reviews that they wouldn't bring it in the house, I sent Dear Husband to get the hand-truck. The man offered to help us in with it though! I was surprised and I hope by writing this he doesn't get in trouble. We tipped him for his efforts and were very grateful. It's a heavy box.

    Although it was said to be in "Excellent" condition, there was a small dent in one of the long vertical bars in the front. And the box was seriously damaged. I really hoped I wouldn't have to return it after wrestling it into its small space. In the end, the discount outweighed the small unsightly dent.

    I wanted to assemble it myself and for the most part, I did. It took about two hours at a leisurely pace. Mostly it was very easy, but I didn't pay attention to the different types of screws- the wide thread tap ones are for plastic, the narrow thread flat ended ones are for the metal.

    The finished treadmill runs smooth and very quiet. I can't be heard from our bedroom next over with the doors closed. Yesterday I ran for half an hour and put it through its paces. My favorite part are the quick speed buttons. When you hit these buttons you can go right to 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 and 6.0 mph. Perfect for manual intervals- I don't use pre-programmed exercises most of the time.

    The deck feels a little more unyielding than commercial machines. I'm okay with this as it feels nearer to road running. Also, I don't seem to fly along as easily- it feels there's a bit more effort in the exercise. Again, I like this because it kind of imitates non-moving ground. I say all this based on I don't seem to crank up the speed as high as I do on professional treadmills at the gym.

    I like the speakers blowing the music at my face when I run on it- more than I like wearing headphones. This won't work early in the morning while DH is still sleeping, but any other time, look out! It's very motivating. :)

    And finally, for funsies, Dear Husband got on to try it the other day and actually stayed on it for ten minutes. He is not an exerciser and naturally slim.

    We've had it for four days and these are my thoughts. I will update if I think something should be added later on down the road.

    Happy running!! (Posted on 7/16/13)

  10. The Best Treadmill I've Used (Posted on March 21, 2011) Review by S. Datla

    My TR3000i arrived last week, and is the most beautiful and rugged treadmill I've owned or used (at Gym). The construction, frame and console are very sturdy, with careful attention to every bit of detail. I had a few questions, and called Lifespan fitness. The sales and support teams were very helpful (compared to my earlier experience with Icon Fitness/Health Rider -- where support is pretty much non-existent!). In all, I am extremely satisfied with the Company and their product and strongly recommend their product. I exercise very regularly at a local gym, and at home when I cannot make it to the gym; I've used a lot of equipment and this treadmill is very good! (Posted on 7/16/13)

  11. Awesome machine! Exactly what I wanted. (Posted on March 12, 2011) Review by C. Thomas "Wanna be Critic"

    First of all, I should start by saying that I originally brought the TR1200i machine on Amazon for $1049; however a few days later I got a call from Lifespan to let me know that there was a parts shortage on the TR1200i and thus I would not be able to get that machine for 6 weeks. As consolation Lifespan upgraded me to this machine so I wouldn't have to wait so long for free - so I just wanted to give BIG KUDOS to Lifespan. A++++++ Customer Service!!!!!

    Now as for the actual machine - simply awesome. It was a breeze to put together. From start to finish no more than 45 minutes.

    The machine itself runs very quiet and is sooooo smooth. It is comparable and in my opinion and better than most of the treadmills I have used at public gyms over the years.

    As an added bonus there are speakers built into the treadmill so you came play your music out loud while you run.

    The machine is soooooo configurable. There are a ton of preprogrammed running programs and other goodies that I am still learning how to use. There are also controls on the handles to adjust speed and incline - very very convenient as I like to mix things up and it is nice not having to reach to the console. As for the console, it is visually pleasing and does not overwhelm the senses, however it is still fairly high tech. I liked it. It is very evident right from the get go that there is a ton of neat technology built into this machine - again nice job by Lifespan!!!!

    So far I have gone for three runs, and I have zero complaints.

    Anyway If you have the cash and are looking for a great treadmill I cannot recommend this model enough. (Posted on 7/16/13)

  12. Wonderful Treadmill! (Posted on Dec. 23, 2011) Review by S. Dolan

    I received this treadmill this morning. The box was in perfect shape and it was packed really neatly and was very organized.

    It took about an hour for me to put it together. Please note, I did it all myself and I am a girl...impressive, huh ;)

    Anyway, I used it for about 30 minutes this morning after I put it all together and it's a really great machine. The motor is pretty quiet and it runs really smooth. Unlike another reviewer that wrote he had problems with it being next to his AT&T U-verse, I have a box right next to this treadmill and no problems. Also no shocks like another reviewer wrote as well.

    Looks like this baby will last for a while. I'm really excited about it and am very happy with my purchase!

    UPDATE:

    I love this treadmill. I've been running on it and it's super quiet and gets the job done. No problems whatsoever with my AT&T U-Verse wireless box. The only thing that is sort of a pain in the butt is getting it to fold but I never do that anyway so it's not a big deal.

    Seriously, if you're looking in this price range, this is the treadmill to get. It's absolutely wonderful. (Posted on 7/16/13)

  13. A GOOD ONE! (Posted on April 2, 2011) Review by D. Kellogg

    Have had this for several weeks. No flaws in workmanship found. Compared to the prior folding treadmills we have had (and worn out with daily use of 7+ miles between 2 of us):

    PROS-extraordinarily quiet (no need to increase volume on mp3 player or tv); motor operates smoothly; folds easily; incline operates smoothly; speed and incline controls on handles easy to use; large number of programming options.

    CONS-heavy therefore hard to move; safety disconnect can be accidentally hit and displaced when reach for front hand-hold (unit stops); side hand-holds rather widely separated (my major complaint and hence only 4 stars); plethora of buttons for almost overwhelming number of programming options.

    OVERALL-I would buy this one again...but suspect that I will not have to! (Posted on 7/16/13)

  14. Near Commercial Gym quality (Posted on March 8, 2011) Review by Chris S. Hill

    We have been wanting to buy a treadmill for some time. We have a gym membership and the gym is only 3 miles from our home, but the 8pm to 9pm time frame we'd like to go in the evenings all the treadmills are usually taken (it's a smaller gym) so we decided to buy a treadmill for the home. As a child growing up my parents had a $400 treadmill they bought from Sears, always had issues, didn't seem to sturdy - even recently my mother bought a basic treadmill from Wal-Mart - Golds Gym or something like that - good for her needs.

    Having been spoiled by commercial treadmills over the past 10 years I knew I wanted a higher end treadmill. Nothing worse than trying to work out no an inferior treadmill. I had been considering models from Sole and ProForm - both in the $1500-$2000 range. I had been combing craigslist to find one of these used, where prices ran $700-$1000 typically. Anyway we recently had a Best Buy concept store open up in Cincinnati - Warehouse B, which offers refurbished and NIB products at significant savings. The Lifespan TR3000i popped up in an email flyer recently and I decided to check it out.

    I had never heard of Lifespan - as I was shopping models that could be had at Dicks or Sears, but after seeing the treadmill in person and the fit and finish of materials I was impressed. The Sole and Proform I looked at in Dicks seemed a bit lacking. Amazon reviews seemed promising and a NIB (not a refurbish) price os $799 sealed the deal. We weren't looking for a folding model but it is a bonus and even being a folding model the unit is very sturdy. The treadmill is quiet and the deck has very good cushioning. Even at the $1,499 that Amazon..com is selling the treadmill for, this is about as close to a commercial quality treadmill that you are going to find without spending $2,500 plus. While the TR3000i isn't quite as nice as the Lifestyle treadmills I've been using at our local gym, it is on par or better with most of the treadmills I've used in Hotel gyms over the years. Overall a well built quality treadmill that bridges the gap nicely between low end and commercial grade. (Posted on 7/16/13)

  15. Pleasant Review by K

    Overall, my experience has been very good, from buying the equipment to setting up and using the treadmill. The staff was very knowledgeable and honest. And when it came to loading the treadmill into my car everyone was wiling to help. (Posted on 11/18/12)

Shipping & Delivery Options

LifeSpan wants to make sure your products arrive safely and quickly. We do our best to provide you with delivery options that will best suit your needs. All delivery options are listed below with a brief description for each.

We feel the best value for your money is our Room of Choice Delivery. We make our products easy to assemble even easier to get started, but because they are heavy we recommend having them delivery to the room of your choice.

If you are wanting to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada OR if you have any other questions on the options below, please give us a call at 801.973.9993 x 128 and a representative will be happy to assist you.

All products generally ship within one to two business days and will be delivered in five to ten business days.

Available Options:

Standard Delivery

UPS/USPS Shipments: UPS and USPS shipments will follow their standard protocols for package deliveries. It is up to the discretion of the driver whether a package is left when no one is home. If the driver feels that the package could be stolen or get damaged based on your location or weather conditions the driver will not drop the package but will leave a first attempt notice. The driver will make three attempts with notices on each attempt and then return the product to the distribution center to be held for the customer to pick up. After seven days the shipment is considered undeliverable and will be returned to the shipper.

Curbside Delivery: Delivered to the curb or driveway. The customer is responsible for moving the product from the point of delivery to the garage or room where the product will reside. The drivers are not responsible for placing the product inside the garage or home. LifeSpan will not be responsible for rain damage or stolen product if the product cannot be moved to a dry, secure location. Since most equipment weighs over 175 lbs., if a second person is not available to help move the product to the home a better option is Inside Delivery or the best option is Room of Choice Delivery.

Inside Delivery - $49

Large items ship via motor freight and will be placed in the garage or the first available ground level door. This does not include room of choice or any steps. Since your product is being shipped via freight carrier you will be contacted by phone to schedule a delivery time since this shipping method requires a signature.

Room of Choice - $99

Delivered by a freight carrier with lift gate, two delivery professionals will place your product in the room of your choice. Rooms can be up/down two flights of stairs only, additional flights will be charged an additional $15 per flight. This is our recommended service option since the assembly process is quite basic for most LifeSpan pieces of equipment.

White Glove Service - $199

This is our highest quality shipping service, leaving all the work to us so you don't need to lift a finger. The complete White Glove Service includes:

  • Delivery of the product to your home
  • Placement in the room of your choice (up/down two flights of stairs)
  • Unpacking and removal of debris
  • Assembly

This service is sometimes a two-step process that may require two separately scheduled appointments.

  1. Delivery and removal of packaging
  2. Product assembly may require a certified LifeSpan technician to come to your home and assemble the product that was placed in your room of choice by the delivery team.

Depending on the product you purchase, it may take one or two separately scheduled appointments. Items that only require one-step in this process are the TR200 Treadmill and all Treadmill Desks and Bike Desks (ConfigureDesks will be a two-step process). These units will be assembled by the delivery team.
