  1. Power off your treadmill and unplug it from the power outlet.
  2. Starting toward the front (motor end) of your treadmill, slide your hand underneath the belt creating separation between the deck and belt.
  3. Slide the lube tube as close to the center of the treadmill deck as possible.
  4. While gently applying controlled pressure to the squeeze bottle, slowly move the applicator from the center towards the edge of the treadmill belt. Apply approximately ½ oz (1/8 of bottle) to the underside of belt.
  5. Repeat steps 1-3 on the opposite side of the belt.
  6. Plug in treadmill, power it on, and run the treadmill for 3-5 minutes to disperse treadmill lubricant evenly.

Treadmill Belt Lubricant

We recommended you wipe the treadmill down after each use to keep the treadmill clean and dry. A mild detergent may be used at times to help remove all dirt and salt from the belt, painted parts, and the console.

Pull the treadmill belt away from the deck with one hand and with the other hand, insert the silicone spray nozzle underneath the belt and spray the silicone towards the center of the belt. Follow this procedure spraying up and down both sides of the running belt, applying a total of 1-oz (2-oz when installing a new treadmill belt) of 100% silicone lubricant.

Rotate the belt by hand one-half a revolution so that you reach the portion of the running belt that was not lubricated, then repeat the treadmill lubrication process. When complete, run the treadmill for approximately 3 minutes at 3 mph, distributing the silicone across the running belt and deck.

Note: When lubricating the treadmill belt, make sure the treadmill is located on a surface that can be easily cleaned. After treadmill lubrication, clean any excess silicone off the belt and frame.

Customer suggestion: Fill up an oral syringe with ½ ounce or 15 milliliters of lubricant. Start the treadmill belt at 0.5 mph and place the syringe under one side of the belt. Without touching the moving belt with your fingers, gently squeeze 15 milliliters underneath the rotating belt. Repeat on the other side of the belt so that a total of 1 ounce or 30 milliliters have been used. Note that some children’s oral syringes are 10 milliliters so you will need to apply 1 ½ syringe-fulls to each side of the belt.
